Why “Real Barks”
We believe dogs don’t just make our lives better, they make them whole. And not many people realise this.
Our name reflects our promise to focus on what’s real.
Not many people realise that every year, as stated by ASPCA's U.S. Animal Shelter Statistics, an estimated 6–8 million cats and dogs enter shelters in the United States alone, but only about half are adopted, and approximately 378,000 dogs are euthanized because shelters lack the space or resources to care for them.
That's where we want to help. Provide real impact while providing real quality, and make growth purposeful.
As we grow, we plan to expand our impact, supporting the welfare of dogs beyond our storefront and into the communities that care for them every day.
Our Mission, Made Concrete
We moved quickly to make our mission concrete from the outset. Within days of launch, we formalized a giveback program so every purchase makes a tangible difference.
We’ve partnered via Work for Good to donate 10% of every sale to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Why We Chose Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
Battersea has been here for every dog and cat since 1860. Over more than 160 years, the charity has grown from a single London home to three rescue and rehoming centres across the UK, caring for millions of vulnerable animals along the way.
Their approach is holistic and compassionate. Expert staff and highly trained volunteers work to make each animal healthy, confident, and ready for a loving home. Battersea focuses on finding the best match for every dog and cat, giving them the greatest chance at long-term happiness.
